Tam Coc

As every Tuesday, at the luxury hotel in Alicante Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa we keep discovering new wonders of the Asian continent. We are travelling to Vietnam to get to know the natural beauty of Tam Coc.

Tam Coc is a beautiful natural spot located in Ninh Binh province, in northern Vietnam, about 100 kilometres away from Hanoi. The area is known as the “the inland Ha Long Bay.” This is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

It is famous for its peculiar karst topography. The spectacular rock formations are surrounded by vegetation and rice fields, making up unique scenery. People can go across these incredible rock mountains through Ngo Dong River.

Tam Coc, which literally means “three caves”, consists of three natural caves: Hang Ca, Hang Hai and Hang Ba. The largest one is 125 metres long and 2 metres high above the water.

Tam Coc has become an authentic legend for both locals and tourists thanks to its inspiring landscape. A green and pure destination, which is ideal for nature lovers.

During your visit to the 5 stars resort Asia Gardens Hotel & Thai Spa, we suggest you an activity that won´t leave you indifferent: a tour around the many lakes surrounding the hotel to watch the beautiful pink, yellow and white water lilies. These water plants open during the daytime and close during twilight, so there is nothing better than enjoying them in broad daylight. Are you joining us?
